Ghardaia, Algeria

Find: 2024 Nov

Classification: Ureilite

History: A single stone weighing 1038 g was found during a search in November 2024 by Abdel Malek in northern Algeria. A 956 g fragment of it was sold to the main mass holder by Mustapha Oulkouch, who initially purchased it one from the finder.

Physical characteristics: Dark grayish to black rock covered to about 70% by fresh fusion crust.
