History: The meteorite was purchased from a dealer in Mauritania.
Physical characteristics: Grayish rock partly covered with black fusion crust.
Petrography: Polymict achondritic breccia composed of up to 1.5 cm sized basaltic and black impact melt clasts plus up to 1.5 mm sized mineral fragments set in fine-grained related matrix. Predominant minerals are exsolved pyroxene, zoned pyroxene, and calcic plagioclase. Minor phases include silica, ilmenite, chromite, troilite, and Ni-free metalic iron.
Geochemistry: low-Ca pyroxene host to exsolution lamellae: Fs51.7±0.7Wo3.5±0.7 (Fs50.8-52.3Wo2.7-4.4, FeO/MnO=39-31, n=5); Ca-pyroxene exsolution lamellae: Fs24.2±0.2Wo41.0±0.2 (Fs23.9-24.4Wo40.8-41.2, FeO/MnO=25-28, n=5); zoned pyroxene: Fs42.1±7.0Wo5.5±0.3 (Fs36.5-50.6Wo5.2-5.9, FeO/MnO=28-31, n=5); calcic plagioclase: An90.1±1.0 (An88.2-91.0, n=5).
