Classification: HED achondrite (Diogenite)
History: The meteorite was found during a search in the Taoudenni DCA of Mali and initially purchased by Moroccan dealer Ali Muftah who sold it to Tomasz Jakubowski.
Physical characteristics: Grayish stone, about 70% covered by fresh black fusion crust.
Petrography: Achondritic breccia composed of up to 2.5 mm-sized orthopyroxene and up to 1 mm-sized plagioclase crystals (about 25 vol%) in fine-grained clastic matrix of related material. Most low-Ca pyroxenes contain fine lamellar and blebby augite exsolutions. Minor phases include silica, chromite, and troilite. Contains SiO2-chromite symplectites. No metal detected. Cracks are often filled with secondary calcite.
Geochemistry: low-Ca pyroxene: Fs33.0±0.2Wo1.8±0.1 (Fs32.5-33.1Wo1.7-1.9, FeO/MnO=26-28, n=7); Ca-pyroxene: Fs11.8±0.6Wo45.7±0.4 (Fs10.6-12.4Wo45.2-46.5, FeO/MnO=27-29, n=7); calcic plagioclase: An93.6±0.3 (An93.1-94.0, n=7)
